Lifeline is a volunteer based non-profit organization that operates an English speaking helpline service for the community across China. Lifeline began its operations in Shanghai in 2004.

At Lifeline we believe that mental health is crucial to well-being and a healthy lifestyle and that every individual has the right to be listened to in an anonymous, confidential environment. Our essential helpline service provides emotional support and information to our callers. We also connect and refer our callers and chatters to a variety of different services
